Sorry for the long break between posts, we’ve been having some problems with the site, but everything should be running smoothly now.
Just like the title says, the holidays are right around the corner and our new cards are in. From Thanksgiving (which is here in just a few days), Hanukkah (which starts on Dec. 4th this year) to Christmas, we’ve got your stock of cards right here waiting for you….. provided you grab ‘em before somebody else does!
And don’t forget your seasonal wrapping paper, ribbons and gift bags too! Your going to need something to wrap all those presents in, right?

Now that father’s day has recently passed (if you forgot it, we still have some cards left) the next big day coming up is the Fourth of July. We’re going to close a little early that day to go out and celebrate, so the bookstore will be closing a 6:00 p.m. instead of the usual 10:00 p.m. To further celebrate the holiday the store is having a special sale for our web users. Just click on the picture below, print out the following page, bring it along with you on the 4th, and you’ll recieve 20% off any books you buy that day! Have a happy Independence Day!
Father’s Day is coming up quick so don’t forget to pick up a card and a gift for him!
Now that Easter is over, the next holiday coming up is Mother’s Day on May 13th, and we already have our Mother’s Day cards in stock. We also have Graduation cards coming in, which are going out on the shelves.
On our merchandise selection, we’re carrying new bookends, in several shapes and sizes. Also, our remaining 2006 calendars are now priced at $3.00 each.
Last but not least, we’ve recieved a new shipment of stuffed toys from Gund and Manhattan Toys, as well as new children’s puzzles and other assorted toys.
That’s right, Easter is coming up this sunday, April 8th, so don’t forget to pickup your cards before the day arrives. Also, the store will be closed on sunday for Easter celebrations.
In other spring news, some of you may have noticed some the changes to the store for our spring cleaning. Our most recent change is the addition of a new glass cabinet in the card room. Inside we’ll be carrying some new merchandise such as Bulova clocks, some Frank Lloyd Wright design money-clips and more.
